As we had quite nasty weather walking outside has to be seriously protective… Not only wind and rain are quite strong, but the cold is considerable
This is the old road to Bolungarvik where you can see what power waves have
Nothing beats a healthy warm dinner after such a 3 hour trip
Seals on the other side love this weather
No wonder – they have (much thicker) insulation
Admiring views
After quite some trip down to the south-east we ended for the night in Drangsnes with beautiful vistas over the Northern-Atlantic
People here have the habit to model “important” monuments for them in small
And create breath-taking Kitsch front gardens
View over the fjord
and one more…
These pools are free of charge for everyone willing to use them. Temperature is more like “boil a lobster” but otherwise very nice
The clouds made perfect waves
And this mountain behind our next campsite we were about the tackle the day afterwards – stay tuned for the next blog
Anybody who wants to watch our weather as we slowly progress towards the East can do this at: en.vedur.is – very interesting to see
The vistas are „superb“. I would like this pool and one lobster as well…
