As I have always wanted to visit Þórsmörk, we decided to take a private 4×4 super-jeep tour as this is the only way to enter Þórsmörk. The main problem is simply that the last river to cross is too deep and violent for anything else than one of these monsters.

Here the last episode of „Game of Thrones“ was shot. No reason for us to go there – just mere coincidence…

It is a very lovely, yet still a bit scary place
