Well, before the posts about Japan are going to be made I have to finish the ones about past trips… So now will be London… Be warned – it’s a lot about food, drink and serious fun 🙂
After leaving our camper in a secure storage in Glasgow (better safe than sorry)

we took the train to London where the first scenes were somehow rather interesting…

A very nice pizzeria made our evening a splenid experience and we felt fit for the next level

Strolling around London you discover quite a lot of interesting graffiti on the walls and the pub signs are not bad either

The most important rule:

Jellied eels…

One of the more chic restaurant which pop up constantly around London and provide a super interesting experience
The food was everything – from quite ok to absolutely lovely. In total you could say it was worth every penny – especially the prosecco 😉
Eating in a tapas bar – like in Barcelona

Well, at least he had some sense of humor 🙂

What are those people heading for with that amount of tequila? brrrr….

A Vietnamese restaurant

and to digest the ingredients some „holy water“

last stop on the way home

At least they warn you…

Super-posh loo

Don’t ask what it took to get this image 😉

the waiting area

People in front of a bar

Very nice, very lively, very late 😉

Wonderful graffiti

a more silent and beautiful place to be

drinks

angels…

choir chairs…

a real bizarre combination

Anybody fancy a hat?

modern and radiant…

cool design

and finally – after meeting many friends, having too much food and drink, no money left – heading back to Glasgow…
London is nice, but very often the epitome of the following picture – a beautiful facade with nothing behind. It’s posh, loud, fast and glamorous, but I prefer Glasgow or Edinburgh – if not for the prices alone 😉
