Back to the old picture postcard style of blog here are some more impressions from the windy island (well, actually Faroe Islands means sheep islands as they have plenty more of those than people, but windy is always true…)

It got wintery again and the snow blew over the tops

As the islands are very young the layers are not so much eroded as in many other places

As I took too much time for my pictures Urzula got cold and had to do some power walking to re-heat…

It surely got colder…

On the way to the one campground we had to cross a pass and I was honestly happy to be over (the same the next day back…)

and it got really windy with northerly winds

so the sea was boiling

and some of the crashing waves were higher than the houses behind
